La Cofradía Europea de la Vela crece en miembros y en países. En la próxima Investidura de Porto 33 nuevos miembros se incorporarán como cofrades alcanzando los 197 cofrades a los que se unen los 159 amigos de la Cofradía y los 30 novicios pendientes de investidura.
The European Sailing Fraternity grows in membership and countries. In the next Investiture Ceremony of Porto 33 new members will join as members reaching 197 to the 159 members nowadays and the 30 pending members of investiture.
Los nuevos miembros que se investirán en Porto en la ceremonia del día 20 proceden de 10 países: Angola, España, Brasil, Uruguay, Chile, Canadá, Italia, Portugal, Irlanda y Estados Unidos.

De esta forma la Cofradía sigue reforzándose como entidad internacional con talento y experiencia para desarrollar sus objetivos de desarrollar la vela y su cultura marítima en el mundo, ya sea a través de los foros de reflexión, las exposiciones, las publicaciones o el apoyo a eventos o actividades de los cofrades y colaboradores para el desarrollo de la vela.
Se acompaña acceso a Marcha dos Marinheiros que sonará en la investidura.
