El Cofrade Alfredo Ricci perteneciente al Capítulo Italo-Maltés de la Cofradía Europea de la Vela ha sido premiado con el Premio Gabrio Szombathely 2017 de la Federación Italiana de Vela, que reconoce como mejor Juez Internacional de Regatas 2017.
Alfredo Ricci, member of the Italo-maltes Chapter of the European Sailing Fraternity, has received the Gabrio Szombathely Award of 2017 from the Italian Sailing Federation, in recognition of the best International Regatta Judge of 2017.
El 25 de noviembre de 2017 ha tenido lugar el acto de entrega del Premio en el Yacht Club Adriaco de Trieste fundado en 1903.
El premio lleva el nombre del regatista, campeón olímpico y juez internacional de regatas Gabrio de Szombathely que fue uno de los creadores del Reglamento Internacional de Regatas.

On 25 of November 2017 the Award was delivered in the Yacth Club Adriaco of Trieste, established in 1903.
The name of the Award was from the sailor, Olimpic Champion and International Regatta Judge, Gabrio de Szombathely, one of the creators of the International Regatta Rules.
