El Capítulo de Cataluña se ha reunido y han definido las próximas líneas de acción centradas en dos ejes, la cultura e historia y la construcción de un futuro entorno al mar y la náutica a través de los Forums.

El Capítulo de Cataluña formado por 14 miembros y uno de los primeros en formarse en la Cofradía Europea de la Vela ha mantenido una reunión presidida por el miembro de la Tabla Joan Antón Camuñas con la participación de Mª Glòria Aragó, Joan Basacoma, Fina Borra, Carles Buxadé, Marta Esteve, Segimon Obradors y Pere Sust.
El lugar elegido ha sido el Club Náutico El Masnou coincidiendo con la fiesta del Carmen y la Regata Puig del R.C.N.de Barcelona lo que impidió asistir a otros cofrades de este Capítulo como Pere Guardiola, Juan José Espinós, Toni Tió, Jorge Salvat, Joan Mª Roig y

Segimon Obradors
La reunión comenzó con un análisis del papel y actividades que está desarrollando y puede desarrollar una plataforma internacional de personas con los conocimientos y experiencia en la vela y el mar que supone la Cofradía.

A continuación se debatieron y establecieron como línea de acción para el Capítulo de Cataluña dentro de la Cofradía las siguientes:
- Promoción y difusión de la vela en al sociedad.
- Cultura marítima al existir muchas entidades relacionadas con la cultura del mar en Cataluña.
- Vela oceánica a través de la FNOB y la Barcelona World Race. http://www.fnob.org
- Forum Internacional de la Vela que ya ha venido organizando en el pasado este Capítulo.
Por ello, se han establecido como grandes ejes la Cultura e historia, sobre todo en el análisis y estudio del pasado en el mundo del mar, la vela y la náutica y un eje para la construcción de un futuro en esas materias, los Forums.
Por último se analizaron posibles nuevos cofrades que puedan ayudar en los objetivos y acciones previstas y en desarrollar nuevas reuniones en distintas entidades a las que asistan personas e instituciones náuticas con el objetivo de difundir y aumentar las entidades que conozcan y con las que poder colaborar en el logro de los objetivos establecidos.

NEW MEETING OF THE CATALONIAN´S CHAPTER IN YACH CLUB EL MASNOU

The Chapter of Catalonia, with 14 members and one of the first created in the European Sailing Fraternity, held a meeting chaired by the Board´s member, Joan Anton Camuñas, with the participation of Mª Glòria Aragó, Joan Basacoma, Fina Borra, Carles Buxadé, Marta Esteve, Segimon Obradors and Pere Sust.

The chosen place was the Yacht Club El Masnou the same day as the Feast of Carmen and Regata Puig of Royal Yacth Club of Barcelona which prevented assist other colleagues of this Chapter as Pere Guardiola, Juan José Espinós, Toni Tio Jorge Salvat, Joan Maria Roig Jordi Penas. Mª Glòria Aragó
The meeting began with a discussion about the role and activities develop by the European Sailing Fraternity and its members with so important knowledge and experience in sailing and sea.
- Afterwards, They discussed and established the lines of action for the Catalonian´s Chapter of the Fraternity in the following:
- Promotion and dissemination of the Fraternity in the society.
- Maritime Culture, because there are a lot of entities related to the culture of the sea in Catalonia. Ocean Sailing through the FNOB and the Barcelona World Race entities. http://www.fnob.org
- New International Sailing Forum like the other that has been organized in the past by this Chapter.
That is the reason because the Chapter has established two main areas of working, the Culture and history, especially in the analysis and study of the past around the world of the sea, and how to build a future for the sea, sailing and nautical sector, in this case using the Forums.
Finally, new possible members were analyzed, those who can help in the objectives and planned actions and it was decided to develop new meetings in different entities to attend nautical people and institutions with the aim of spreading and increasing entities that know and with whom to collaborate to achieve those objectives.
