El Centro de Estudios de Tradición Náutica (Centro de Studi Tradizioni Nautiche) de Italia promovido por la Liga Naval Italiana ha publicado un artículo sobre la Cofradía Europea de la Vela en su publicación mensual “NOTIZIARIO CSTN” que ha sido distribuida a mas de 1200 amigos de la Vela en Italia.
Es de agradecer la labor que los cofrades de Italia en la difusión de la Cofradía en un país con la tradición navegante de Italia.
El artículo hace un repaso por la tipología de miembros de nuestra fraternidad que según recoge “reúne a campeones olímpicos internacionales y nacionales, presidentes de Federaciones y dirigentes de altísimo nivel en el seno de la ISAF, regatistas, navegantes, deportista, Oficiales de las Marinas Nacionales, escritores, jornalistas…”
Posteriormente hace una mención a los Capítulos, al Gran Maestre Francisco Quiroga y a los tres representantes de Italia, Carlo Rolandi, Agostino Randazzo y Paolo Rastrelli.

Por último, el artículo resalta el Miniforo Internacional celebrado en Santiago de Compostela organizado por Joan Antón Camuñas, presidente del Comité de Foros y Conferencias en la que respasan lo interesante de las conferencias de Octavio E. Jarrín (Presidente de la Federación de Vela de Sudamérica), W. Scott Perry (Presidente de la Federación Panamericana de Vela) la de Sarah Treseder (Secretaria General del RYA-Federación de Vela del Reino Unido) y por su puesto la de Carlo Rolandi, Presidente Honorario de la Federación Italiana de Vela en la que desarrolló los retos de la profesionalización y de la sponsorización en el deporte de la vela, así como la metamorfosis que esta actividad está sufriendo en Italia y en el resto del mundo.

THE EUROPEAN SAILING FRATERNITY IS NEWS IN ITALY THANKS TO NAUTICAL TRADITION STUDIES CENTRE AND OUR ITALIAN MEMBERS
The Nautical Tradition Studies Centre (Centro de Studi Tradizioni Nautiche) of Italy managed by Liga Naval of Italy has published an article on the European Sailing Fratenity in its monthly publishment “NOTIZIARIO CSTN” and it has been delivered to more than 1200 friends of the sailing in Italy.
We have to give thanks to the member of Italy for the dissemination of the Fraternity in a country like Italy with such an important role in navigation tradition.
The article makes a review about the type of members of our Fraternity saying that “the Fraternity is a meeting point of national and international Olympic champions, presidents of Sailing Federations and members of the highest level in the organizations as ISAF, sailing racers, sailors, Official of the National Navies, writers, journalist…

Afterwards it makes a referente to the Chapters of the Fraternity, the Grand Master Francisco Quiroga and the three members from Italy, Carlo Rolandi, Agostino Randazzo and Paolo Rastrelli.
Finally, the article talks about the International Miniforum celebratation in Santiago de Compostela organized by Joan Antón Camuñas, president of the Conferences and Forums Committee in which it has been studied through interesting conferences of Octavio E. Jarrín (President of the Southamerica Sailing Federation), W. Scott Perry (President of the Panamerica Sailing Federation), Sarah Treseder (General Secretary of the RYA-United Kingdom Sailing Federation) and by Carlo Rolandi, President of Honor of the Italian Sailing Federation. He explained the challenges of the professionalization and the sponsored in the sailing sport and the changes in this activity in Italy and the rest of the world.
