La Cofradía sigue creciendo. Ha pasado en estos 3 últimos años desde 92 miembros en 2011 hasta los 210 en 2014. A nivel geográfico la Cofradía ha pasado de actuar y tener representación en 5 países hasta los 22 países actuales.
La importancia de los nuevos cofrades se observa:
- Son cuatro los que han elaborado libros como el Libro de la Náutica de Recreo de Portugal, artículos e imágenes sobre patrimonio histórico sumergido en ICOMOS (UNESCO) o la historia de la Vela Internacional Siglo XVIII y XIX.
- Cinco son han sido conferenciantes en eventos como Desarrollo azul para Portugal o en seminarios de la ISAF.
- La mayoría de los nuevos cofrades, 18 han tenido responsabilidades en la gestión de Clubes, Federaciones o entidades náuticas o en ámbitos relacionados con el deporte y la náutica en alguna Administración. Destacar presidentes de federaciones regionales y nacionales de vela, miembros de la ISAF, cofundadores de Sociedad Internacional de Fotografía Submarina, presidente de Comité Regional Olímpico o Presidentes de entidades Administradoras de Puertos.
De esta forma la Cofradía sigue incrementando sus conocimientos y capacidades como Think Tank a nivel internacional en el marco de la náutica y el mar.

THE EUROPEAN SAILING FRATERNITY WILL ENDOWED 32 NEW MEMEBERS OF ELEVEN COUNTRIES IN HIS CEREMONY ON 9 MARCH IN SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
The European Sailing Fraternity is growing. It has increased its members from 92 in 2011 to 210 in 2014. Geographically, also The Fraternity has increased from 5 to 22 countries.
We can see the importance of the new members in these facts:
- There are in the members four writers of books like The book of the Nautisme in Portugal, articles and photographies of undersea historical Heritage of ICOMOS (UNESCO) or the History of the International Sailing in XVIII and XIX centuries.
- There are five members with experience as speakers in forums and conferences like the Blue Development to Portugal or in the seminars of the ISAF..
- An important majority of the new Brothers, 18, have been Chairman or Vice chairman in different Yacht Clubs, Federations, nautical associations, or in the sports or nautical area in the public sector. There are chairman of the Regional and National Sailing Federations, members of the ISAF, cofounders of the International Diving Photography Society, chairman of the Olympic Regional Committee or chairman of Harbour Authorities.
On this way, the Fraternity is increasing its knowledge and capacities as an International Think Tank in the sea and nautical area.
